Deal With It

I struggle with sincerity,
the truth leaves me tongue tied.
So, when I said I liked your hair
it’s possible I lied.

My language is quite colorful
when I am under stress,
and rare is the opinion
that I will not express.

For want of tact, I sometimes blurt
out things I should not say,
and I’ve been known to gripe and moan
when things don’t go my way.

And as for my sarcasm,
and love of irony,
though some is lost on other folks,
it still amuses me.

I’ve little motivation,
to change the things I do,
and never had much interest,
in whether you approve.

Consider this fair notice,
now that I’ve said my bit.
you can either walk away,
or you can deal with it.
