I WALK ALONE
Walking alone in a state of depression

When I once held you I never realized how fortunate I was
I walk alone
Where once I felt unconditional love and security
I walk alone
The stars lost appeal when you were taken from me
I walk alone
Pellets of raindrops are now the tears that are shed
I walk alone
The road long and never ending
I walk it alone
The petals of roses now less radiant to behold
I walk alone
In God’s loving arms you now are
I walk alone
A heart enveloped with bereavement
I walk alone
Wounds I know shall never heal
I walk alone
You were always my night star
Now I walk alone
