You may be looking out, but what might be looking in?

What's In The Window?

I'm looking out my window
To see what I might see.
There's a chubby squirrel
Sitting in a tree.

I'll take a closer look
To see what he will do.
I'll sneak up to the window
To get a better view.

I'm careful not to scare him,
He might just run away.
It's fun to sit and watch him
Run and jump and play.

What's up with that squirrel
Sitting in the tree?
I think that maybe
He's looking back at me.

I'm looking in that window
To see what I might see.
There's a chubby child
Looking at my tree.

I'll take a closer look
To see what he will do.
I'll sneak up to the window
To get a better view.

I'm careful not to scare him,
He might just run away.
It's fun to sit and watch him
Run and jump and play.
