Unsaid Words
She sees him, a dense forest dark and unknown where he hides from her and she's hopelessly lost. Stumbling in his growing shadows her mind creates what she can't see. He sees her, a cool glassy pool reflecting back the sky where she lies beneath the surface and he skips across her like a stone. Treading water in her uncertain depths he lets her flow through his fingers. So close the timber to the shoreline yet neither can see through the haze of their unsaid words.
