Unsent Letters My thoughts are left to thickly stew without you, Confusing how my heart should feel about you, If all my fears are not allowed to vent And thus in doubts are my ideas basted. In order that my inner voice be heard, Explored and spelled out in the written word, I pack in envelopes the sentiments And kiss where decorative stamps were pasted. But soon, with my specific words forgotten, Once more my fears transform my love to rotten, And thus have all these letters gone unsent While I am left lamenting effort wasted. For now I only wonder where it went - The magic life we still have not yet tasted.
