When the wind blows ...
Another beautiful hot summer day. I'm sitting in my kitchen and looking out the window not at anything in particular just enjoying how beautiful the days looks. Every now and then I glace at a group of tall trees that are full of crisp green leaves standing in their place so majestically. They seem to be minding their own business as I was. Then it happens, a soft gush of wind blows through the trees, and much to my surprise, I discovered that the trees, their branches, and leaves were praising the Creator. I sat there at my kitchen table amazed at the sight. As the wind continued to send mild to strong breezes through the trees, the leaves and the branches would go from unified smiles to hysterical-like laughter. As I continued to look upon the strange yet wonderful sight, I began to see that they were praising the creator and I wished it were me.
I saw their smiles and laughter - joyous smiles and happy laughter and wished it were me. They didn't care that I was watching them either they only wanted to praise Him. Days later I wondered why they didn't care that I was watching them then it hit me like a ton of bricks, It was probably because they had seen what mankind haven't seen: His works: the creation of the world and the great love that He bestowed upon man when He created him and they knew that that love is still being bestowed upon mankind in our day, so they were praising Him. The branches and the leaves would sway back and forth, back and forth in perfect unity as they praised Him.
I will never forget that sight! Yes! the trees and the leaves were praising the Creator. They were smiling, laughing, happy, and most all, they were in unity with one another. When the wind blows, I see the trees and the leaves smiling and I wish it were me.
