I got up early this morning and decided to sit down and work on my page proofs for my book. First, I checked my email, and saw a newsletter from Writing.com. Well, that reminded me that I haven't been to this site for awhile. Imagine my surprise when I logged in and went to my email. I learned that someone had given me an Upgrade Membership! This was the message I received.

"You have received an anonymous gift of Upgraded Membership! The individual(s) who gave you this gift wishes to remain anonymous, so unfortunately we can't tell you who it was!

The following Gift Message was included:
Please enjoy this gift! "

I can't begin to say how that made me feel, but I'll try. It was gladness, a touch of emotion, surprise!, and a bunch of other feelings. How do you thank someone you don't even know?

This is the only way I can think of to say THANK YOU. Hopefully, you will read this, and know how much I appreciate what you did. This is a hard time for me, and until I go back to work, there is no money to upgrade myself. So, this is so appreciated. Did I say thank you? Well, again, I will say THANK YOU. You know who you are, so please know this was such a kind thing to do! I will use it to promote my writing, and hopefully entertain some of you on Writing.com. Hopefully in the future I'll be able to give back what was given to me.

Sincerely,

Mary
