Flight It struck me like a lightning bolt, a beacon in the dark. One clever thought-filled moment while walking through the park. I think it was the birds I saw that taught me how to fly. Friends asked me how I did it, the tale of when and why. I said it was the geese I watched, flight so graceful in its form. They landed on the smallest pond to weather out the storm. Like many weary travelers that rest upon their way. Slowly gaining back the strength to fly another day. In many ways we are alike, the birds and us for sure. In a world that's so mixed up there's much we shall endure. Some have told me that I'm strange, watching birds the way I do. I've watched them for the longest time and learned a thing or two. So if you watch them long enough and you're as smart as they. You'll find a place to rest a spell and fly a better way. ![]()
