Dragonfly dreams
and a buzzing melody surrounds and silences the pounding of the mind. Bees wearing yellow and black crawl amongst the petals of inviting purple blossoms, searching without need and thought of life’s complexities. A single thrush glides with ease across the leaves of trees, playing with a single butterfly that watches over the water’s waves. Silence of nature shatters with motors of a speeding boat, crashing through the ripples, ruining nature’s peace, ending my dragonfly dreams.
