Unlike a rock, I feel pain
Foolishly allow myself to get hurt again My heart I’ve learned to keep under lock Believe me, baby, I’m unlike a rock I’m not made of stone, can’t you see? If our hearts can’t be shared, then let me be This shouldn’t come to you as a shock Believe me, baby, I’m unlike a rock I’m not a boulder to share only the bad Don’t want to hear from you when you’re only sad Love can be depended on, in that, take stock Believe me, baby, I’m unlike a rock I’m not a pebble to be cast aside Not always here to shelter you when you hide I’ve learned well to keep my heart under lock Believe me, baby, I’m unlike a rock
