Fades Away
for the rainy day

This item has no ratings.
She can't sleep because of nightmares but she won't get out of bed.
She doens't want to think of him. He's all that's running through her head.
The time she will never get back from the night that she was attacked.
Her heart was broken and her spirit killed.
Her soul is torn apart by shame and guilt.

And she says, "take the pain away," as she lowers the blade to her skin.
"Keep the pain away," as she cuts flesh deep within.
Now she lay silent on the bathroom floor, washed her pain down the sink.
The blood stained tile chills her down to the core. "It's finally over," she thinks.

Her cries are the only sound that she hears and she dies a little with each falling tear.
The light in her eyes slowly fades away as she.....
slowly..............
fades.............
away.............
