"Our Children's Eyes"
Know this in your heart; That a new day will arise Know this as you see the dawn within your children's eyes Witnessing a war... The children shield their eyes, afraid to witness more On the horizon, a new day will arise... I see this truth within my children's eyes Tomorrow will be brighter, of this I am sure A time in which blood stained hands are cleaned, and changed to pure Have we ever seen the world through our children's eyes? Forever amazed is he or she who tries If you know the way, then come along Keep a thick line between right and wrong One day... All the smoke will roll away And may the smoke not arise... To fill our children's eyes -B.L. Houghtalin
