"Words on a String"
Sometimes, the world can be a cage...

"Words on a String"

Racing onward is the world...
As if through space it had once been hurled
Perhaps by someone, or maybe no one...
Caught in a cycle around the Sun

To stand on Earth is to spin through space...
Albeit though, an alarming pace
We strive to drive faster, to win the ancient race

Our theater is the world, and life is our stage
Although to some people, the world is their cage

Whether the bars are broken clean through...
That, my friend, is all up to you
A cage can be shattered upon one command...
To be made into a stage, upon which you can stand

If on that stage, you wish to dance...
Sieze the moment, and take the chance
Let the chances be taken, and the words be spoken
May the stages be built, and the cages be broken

The cage is as fragile as you or me...
May we dance upon the stages for the whole world to see
