Tagalong

My little girl wanted to be near me.
Whether walking or riding in my car.
I was happy to have her company.
She treated me like a movie star.

Her love kept a smile on my face.
Memories that time will never erase.
I called her my sweet little tagalong.
As she walked and hummed a song

Today I gave away her prcious hand.
To a man who's now her husband.
Her gentle love's not to be misused.
Nor she is not ever to be abused.

Willing to share her love with him.
He had better treat her as a man.
My little tagalong is now all grown,
Into a very gorgeous sweet woman.

Her husband is a real lucky man,
To have won my girls sweet hand.
Hope she has a chance to feel,
Her own tagalong near her heels.

Hope you stay happy for your life,
Have children even one will be nice.
I called her my little girl tagalong,
She hummed a tune to a song

Today I gave away her pure hand.
To a man who's now her husband.

He had better treat her as a man.
I guess I'll have another tagalong.
As soon as her baby girl is born.
