I read your latest piece about me These days I am prepared for the shock But never quite the hurt Your ego had soared to new heights And your arrogance had found new delights There you were again The saviour and the all seeing Telling me about me being Yet never having actually asked It all feels like a provincial farce I read your latest piece about me I could not measure the unfairness Just as I could not measure the sadness Loneliness has been your latest dig Does this make you feel big? Yet it is you clawing at strangers Desperate to be liked I read your latest piece on me Your ego had soared to new heights And your arrogance had found new delights Monday 12th July 2006
