I've fallen into a fairytale nightmare
this comfortable space where I stay it is a place to lay my heavy head where I close my eyes and pray Seemingly innocuous shadows that seep into my soul and my heart I have to dig deep and coerce a smile forever doomed to play a part the highs so high I must admit the light plays tricks so cruel and when the ploy is foiled I will not be made a fool burning swells inside my chest my body will not succumb anger seems to be the excuse I am left to feel so numb so unassuming, soft and sweet it feels just like a kiss a fairytale nightmare begins again a wide, open abyss
