An Eternity to End

Space;
empty, free,
an eternity
consuming me --
endless hole,
fragmented den,
door ajar,
sucks me in.
Space;
full yet bound,
an eternity
rejecting me --
shallow vault,
sutured cell,
seals fate
in barred hell.
Space;
floating sea,
an eternity
eluding me --
widening chasm,
gelling stars,
smoldering acid
smothers Mars.
