Flowers
A metaphor to racial issues.

I stop to smell the flowers
A new day has begun,
I look at all the different colors of petals
Then look at them as one.

They all look unique
But also the same
and in this,
they feel no shame.

Some are tall, some are small.
A few are scattered here and there
Some are dark and some are fair
Look around, the difference and similarity is everywhere.
