How Embrarassing Was That?

My mother loved to shock me
Any chance she could get.
What she did on my birthday
Was the most embrarassing yet.

No, that word is not misspelled.
In a minute you'll know why.
The incident I'm relating
Just made me want to die.

My birthday is on Christmas,
Shouldn't happen to anyone.
Look who you've got to share it with;
God's one and only Son.

Mother put my birthday presents
On the branches of our tree.
When I came down that Christmas morn,
I wanted to turn and flee.

Around the top of the branches
Where everyone could see,
My mother had artfully draped
My very first 34B.
