Like A River Ever Flowing...
Written for an inspirational contest.I had 10 mins to write, the first line was provided.

Like a river ever flowing
Stretched across a great divide
There’s a love that’s never changing
And in it you can abide

Like a river ever flowing
With a force that can’t be stopped
Is a God of love and mercy
And His gift that can’t be topped

Like a river ever flowing
That connects from sea to sea
Is a bridge to all who’s willing
To cross over and receive

Like a river ever flowing
Bringing life to all that’s dry
Is a peace that we all long for
In that home beyond the sky
