New Beginning
A poem that I wrote for my fiance.

Today I watched my past slip by
A little at a time
A great loss in those I love to know
So I contemplate a crime;

Unseen by those kept ignorant
Bring fear on those who know
I beg of forgiveness to those worthy
They know where I shant go;

A one time thing becomes addiction
But worse upon the weak
And words of popular disappointment
Are the only words they speak;

I inquiry on my behalf
A chance to start my life anew
For the past is over, the hurt is gone
And all I want is you.
