Short poem on dreaming and the unconciousness

Thoughts torment my cells
in torrential swells,
the flooding of my mind.
Sitting silently, and softly breathing
leaving thoughts behind.

And when reality begins at night
unconcious space erases sight.
in dreams contrived, just to survive
until the slice of light.

See conciousness isnt the calm they had promised,
it torments turbulent hearts.
Numbing, soothing, neverending sonnets
a wince when knowing starts.

We are just in existance, a name and gender
a species of heat and steam,
until we choose to lie and surrender
into the freedom of dreams..
