Please Young infant,
mend those broken wings.
Find no righteousness in your taboo,
and navigate well with what life brings.
Streaks of lightning fade against the sky,
and stagnant air grows bitterly cold.
Memories always seem to drift away,
secret lies never to be told.
Empty graves await their friends,
dried flowers adorning their hands.
Laughing tears flow so free,
and bones lie in dust and sands.
No longer hide within the moons shadow,
step into its light.
For if you chose to deny its truth,
one day you'll be blinded in full sunlight.
If truth be told,
Inscribe your name within heart,
no longer in lonely stone,
keep yourself alive and never fall apart.
