Sometimes I wish
That I could have that morning back The cold August morn at the airport One last lingering hug I'd hold on tighter For far longer One last lingering kiss I'd savour your taste The feel of your lips One last lingering look I'd stare into your eyes Capture their colour And emotion that's inside One last lingering I love you Lock it down deep in my heart So that I'll never forget Watch you walk away from me All over again Feel the exact moment My heart splits in two Stand there and wonder If that was the last time I'd ever be happy
