His Eyes
Just a dark love poem. RECENTLY EDITED

This item requires reviews with ratings.
His eyes are as black as coal
As dark and as endless as night
His long raven hair veils his face
Making me love him and shiver in fright

His skin is as pale as my cotton sheets
His black-painted nails like claws
To ignore him is no simple feat,
This demon devoid of all flaws

His long, quick strides are graceful and sure
His ideas: absolute
He is handsome, strong, smart and secure
In this world that we humans pollute

He is a shadow, a nightmare,
A tangible dream
His touch, his lips
I want to scream
His calm, sweet voice
Gives me no choice
My sanity is at an unstable border
He wreaks havoc on me, causes disorder

His cold eyes rest upon me
They own me, slowly destroying me
His soft pale hand caresses my cheek
His melodic voice whispers: “Do you love me?”
But I cannot answer: his eyes make me weak…
