An acrostic, written after I saw a perfect rainbow out of my window.

RAINBOW


Radiant bands of prismed light,

A beautiful and joyous sight.

In insubstantial, cloud-held mist,

Nature’s promise re-expressed.

Brilliant colours up on show

O ’er the land so people know –

Wond’rous rainbow!
