Can you see that
I’ve been walking along broken dreams? That the dreams are like shattered glass Clawing at my feet, But does it matter, That I’m leaving blood trails? Maybe someone will follow Because I can see a great light And it’s getting brighter with each step. Tonight I want you to take my hand, Though battered and scared My hand will guide you along Past all these broken hopes And into tomorrow Where I can see That there will be a future for us.
