The creation of the magical creatures we call fairies

Out of the ground was she made
Light from the morning and rays from the moon,
A birds eye with a pinch of dragon wing
Oh how high she would be flying soon.

Three golden hairs from the valleys on the sun
The merry heart of a child,
Magic stolen from the forest and weightlessness from the wind
Her tiny temperment mild.

Star dust!
Sunflowers!
Waterfalls!
And Evening hours!

Little girl smiles
Happy tears,
Many joyful days
A few lonely years.

Roses for her cheeks
Blue waves for her eyes,
Lttle fairy finally finished
So Brethe the breath of Life!
