AUTUMN MELODIES
by E C Wesch A chiseled wind cuts through the trees like a knife slicing a tart. And Mother Nature strips like Gypsie Rose Lee in prelude to a new seasons start. Discarding her coat of many colours in a graceful abandon of life. She tosses her adornments to those who linger enjoying life's freedom from strife. The melodious rustle of carolling branches add harmony to the whistling breeze. And lullabys sung in the evening light are echoing through the trees. The cataclysm of changes in the Autumn of time occur each and every day. While the busy Sandman sprinkles the land preparing its slumbering way.
