I crept into his room lastnight
To give him a kiss and make sure he was alright I remember so clearly the book I never read The game he asked me to play And the look on his face when I said 'Sorry, darling I'm too busy, not today' I washed dishes that could have waited Cleaned rooms that were already done When what I should have been doing Was enjoying the moment playing with my son. This isn't finished but I thought i'd write down what i have before it goes out of my mind.
