A blossoming explosion across the screen,~0~
Beautiful in its terrific destruction.~1~ The silence of world-wide shock on TV;~2~ Beautiful in everything,~3~ except its reality.~4~ When the buildings fall,~5~ I feel the quakes~6~ As shivers down my spine.~7~ A single tear rolls down my cheek~8~ Accompanied by my mother's crying.~9~ How many lay in somber graves ~10~ Of the ruin of rubble and ash?~11~ How many died when the towers fell?~12~ How many when the planes crashed?~13~
