AUTUMN MELODIES

Wind is singing through the trees,
The autumn melodies.
Crunch of leaves beneath your feet,
As summer does retreat.
The bay of a hunting hound,
A rabbit’s trail he’s found.
The last songbirds in the grove,
Fire crackles in the stove.
Music of an autumn day,
To the tune, natures way.
