As time has wrought fine lines on my face,
these regrets have been etched on my heart.
Oh, the lessons a lifetime imparts,
as I race on at a breakneck pace.

Events I can't alter or erase,
lead me back to where our paths did part.
As time has wrought fine lines on my face,
these regrets have been etched on my heart.

Have I lost myself in time and space?
I cannot guess where they end or start,
as memories, from the truth depart.
What's this lonely destiny I chase?
As time has wrought fine lines on my face,
these regrets have been etched on my heart.
