Sorry
You left me crying on a Friday night.
Saying you were sorry but it wasn't right.
Monday I saw you walking down the hall.
You wouldn't even look at me.
When I finally got the chance to talk to you,you turned around and said we were through.
I didn't want to believe you.
Then a week later you showed up on my doorstep,saying you were sorry and would I please take you back.
I said," I'm sorry,but I've got someone new.
And I'm not gonna break it off for you.
You had that look in your eyes and I said I'm sorry but I really like him.
You said could we at least be friends.
And I replied forever.And I am truly sorry.
He said as he walked away,"I will love you for the rest of my life.
