Tea Kettle In Awe

Written in no set style

The tea kettle sat on the stove
Listening to a wonderful sound
That was floating on the air,
And coming from all around.

The sound was soft and sweet,
It filled Teakettle with awe.
She tried to find the source,
A woman was what she saw.

She was bustling around the room
And whistling a happy tune,
While getting out a cup
And a coconut macaroon.

Teakettle began to feel warm
As she listened to the song.
She wanted to sound like that,
And wished to whistle along.

She had been filled to the brim
With cold, refreshing water,
Which started to bubble and boil
As the awestruck kettle got hotter

She soon could stand it no more
And let her whistle blast free.
The woman stopped her whistling and said,
"Honey, it's time for some tea."
