A lament for those who perished in the Holocaust

million
twice over
and more. Six
Jews times a million. Gypsies, blacks,
all six million. Six camps made for
death, death six million times
over, in that one long Night
that lasted six years. A million
perished, times six, twice over. But,
though dead, they live on, Anne Frank and
Babi Yar live.
Six million
souls
are.
