The Golden Rays Of Sunrise

The golden rays of sunrise
Shone straight into my heart.
Depositing there the love of God;
My day had a blessed start.

The joyful songs of morning birds
Throughout my soul resounded.
Heavenly peace, and blessed quietness,
In my being abounded.

The saving grace of Jesus
Washed me white as snow.
This gift surpasses singing birds,
Or the morning's sunrise glow!

Grace from God is for everyone,
Not for a price, but free.
Just believe, and in Jesus' name,
He'll cleanse you, just like me.
