SPOOKS NIGHT OUT

One time it happens every year,
when witches and goblins you should fear.
You can arm yourself with candy,
because that is one thing most handy
to protect yourself from a ghost’s curse,
a broken pumpkin or maybe worse.
~
They’ll descend on you in sheets and mask
and sure something sweet from you will ask.
An apple perhaps with candied coat,
or chocolate bar might get their vote,
then down the road, will leave with a shout;
“We came to scare you”, it’s spooks night out.
