The Truth
A brief poem regarding the truth about some forms of persecution and injustice

Truth overcomes Justice
As is common in real life
Honesty rears its true face
Takes off the mask and shows the hate

The looks that scorch like the fires of Hell
Singes the skin, but go no further

The words fired out like arrows poisoned with hate
Pierce deeper than before,
Yet still standing tall we remain

Gathering together, strong at heart
We take the blows harshest of all

The gutting actions of our brothers and sisters
With whom we wished to be accepted by

Leaning on one another, the blows do no harm
Alone we are weak, powerless to the wretches
Banding together, we win
The cruelness slips past us, regardless of the forces with which is it thrown at us
Together we win
The Truth is revealed
