Threads of sunlight caress his tanned bare throat
The bright warm rays shine off of the thin band
That sits snug on the hand with which he wrote
The loving words on the note in my hand

He places a band upon my finger
A circle that represents forever
As I read the words, my eyes do linger
For he says he will leave me never

Forever is seen in his dark blue eyes
A look I have seen, and known from the start.
He promises his Soul to me, and I
return his love by giving him my Heart
