Remembering...To Let Go
Rated: E | Poetry | Experience | #1168884
To let go of one's past, he/she must come to terms with it.
His face is darkness.
His body limber, slim, fluid like a snake.
His posture partially slumped; so tall.
Style like a rock star--loud but subtle
His name is the color blue--
slightly pretty, cold, and wavering
His is a pit-bull--
hot tempered and stubborn.
If he was food he'd be pepperoni pizza,
slightly pimpled with
a cheesy smile.
Johnny Depp is the actor that would
be him in a dark horror film.
His brains are not in the head,
heart not in the chest,
guts not in the belly. They are in
         his fingers--they strum his
guitar strings.
He is a thunderstorm, boasting,
quick, and calm when it's over.
