a salad of lies
comparing the ingredients of a salad to lies

This item requires reviews with ratings.
crisp oiled greens cover the truth you hide
under fat cherry tomatoed pride
were it not for hunger's honesty
I would starve from your love eagerly
garlic words, you did not choose my bride

like moldy cheese, our joy you misguide
rotten eggs, your speech is slick and snide
can my wedding day so displease thee?
cover the truth

with red vinegar insults you chide
against our love, peppered truths collide
together we have found harmony
your ill blessing is hegemony
salted salad of lies, our hearts sighed…
cover the truth

a salad of lies
