Every Witch has a Wart
Every witch has a wart Or so it is said Not all have a wrinkly, misshapen head. Or black hat and a broom, like we’ve often been told Or look like they must be ten centuries old. Oh they come in all sizes and shapes now-a-days But still at their heart evil has its cruel way. Every witch has a wart But not where you can look Not all of them act like they came from a book. They might have a bright smile, with pearly white teeth Or poofy blonde hair with soft scents underneath. There is only one thing a witch has to this day She still can entrance you and whisk you away. She won’t make you into a little brown mouse Or else lure you into her gingerbread house. No, the evil inside is far harder to see It sneaks its way out, it sets hidden things free. So be careful my friend if you drink her sweet brew One day you might find that the witch is now… YOU!
