Jeffrey B.
I think he really loves me!

I feel like I am loved
When my lover holds me
But when he falls asleep
I start to feel lonely

I watch him as he sleeps
Not a care on his mind
He's that way when awake
So caring and so kind

If opposites attract
I've really met my match
My heart could not resist
From wanting to attach

My hopes and dreams within
Just waiting to get out
Now where do I begin
And what's it all about

How do I love myself
While loving someone, too
It's too late to go back
Now what am I to do

He makes me so happy
And yet I never am
So truly satisfied
Just being where I am

I always want to be
Somewhere and someone else
But now I'm trying to
Be here and be my self

It's not easy, not yet
I nearly lost my self
Yet, I have no regret
Admitting I'm not well

How else will I get well
Well enough to be me
I have to start somewhere
Now, and let the past be

Today is all I have
To learn about His will
Let me regard this day
With gratefulness until

It comes my time to go
Maybe by then I'll see
What my purpose here was
Maybe it's just to be

As happy as I can
Like an innocent child
Not judging you or me
But knowing how to smile

Not wanting anything
Except to run and play
Only to please the one
Who's here with me today

His name is Jeffrey B.
His favourite color's blue
Though colors, he can't see
I hope our love is true
