Whooping and Yowling

Inside, the mood was tranquil and calm,
Kids playing with their new lizard.
Outside, the wind kept on whooping and yowling,
Cheering on the snowy blizzard.

Inside, the mood dampened a bit,
Kids fighting over the lizard.
Outside the wind just whooped, but not yowled,
At the slowing of the blizzard.

Inside, the mood turned into a storm,
Fighting kids angered the lizard.
Outside, the wind no longer whooped,
Sensing the end of the blizzard.

Inside, the kids kept on whooping and yowling,
They'd been bit by the angry lizard.
Outside, the mood was tranquil and calm,
The wind went away with the blizzard.
