Losing all emotion for one you used to adore

As much as I once cherished you,
time is all we shared.
Dreams I built with you apart,
are forgotten without a care

Left behind our special place,
lost is all I feel.
I shed no tears for what is past.
In time, this wound will heal.

Gone is the love I gave my heart,
I won’t play this game again.
Forgotten all we shared of truth,
A love I can't possibly win.
