The Angel Store  [E]
Beautiful tale of love and death.
by WriterLdy

This is definitely a MUST READ. I'm not a person that usually cries during movies, books, or anything of that sort. But this...this one had a tear rolling down my cheek.

It is an amazing story full of heart-ache, imagery, and just an realistic sense of you being right there, you feeling the pain. WriterLdy did a fantastic job on this and really deserves the award!

To My Darling  [13+]
A Yankee girl receives something unexpected from a wounded Rebel soldier
by Terpsichore, ubertanzen

This was posted on my review forum and I took a while to read it because it was a little long. I am so glad I did though.

This is an amazing story about a girl in the Civil War. It has everything you could ever want...heroics, love, saddness, energy, laughter, and much more. The main character was different, she was fiesty but she wasn't the same old same old. And the soldier, I could almost fall in love with him myself.

A fabulous, fabulous piece written by a very talented author. Do not pass this one up!

This was one of the most amazing stories that I have ever read. I loved it beyond belief, the way that it was told and the story...how mood indigo described everything, it was just fantastic.

I was hooked right from the very start and didn't even realize its length until I got to the middle of it, but I didn't consider even for one second that I would hold off and finish it another time, it was too good to leave unfinished.

The characters were amazing. Alan, gentle and trusting right from the start. And then Sidnee, who you did the most wonderful job describing and all of her feelings. I could almost feel the love that she felt for the baby and the fear, and just everything.

I enjoyed this story incredibly and loved it beyond belief. Like "To My Darling", another item I awarded, I found this in my review forum. The treasures that are waiting in some black portfolios are truly amazing.

Fairy Nuff chap1  [E]
Chapter 1 of a novel in progress. All comments appreciated.
by RoseButterfly busy busy busy

The instant that I started reading this chapter, I just fell in love with it! It is written for people around the age of 12 and it is just the sweetest little story!

RoseButterfly did an amazing job of displaying the characters, and letting the readers fall in love with them, right from the start. Then, the humor! It isn't something that is forced or that jumps out you, but it just slips in while you are reading. I numerously found myself giggling or just beaming while I read this marvelous piece!

Full of laughter, style, originality and cuteness this is a definite must read!

Lost  [ASR]
A poem about my first love. It doesn't have a happy ending.
by Lonely Heart is published!

I was reading this poem and it just sort of...well struck me! It was simple, and yet it was so well written - and pay attention to the last line

It's not - 'lost without you'

it's - 'lost within you'

and that makes all the different to me.

My Copper-Eyed Girl  [ASR]
I knew a girl....
by teardrop

To this one, all I can say is - wow. If you plan on reading this (which you most certainly should!) have a hanky near because it simply killed me, and I didn't live it!

This is a beautiful tale about someone observing another whom he loves. It touche me right in the soul and I know this is one of those stories that I'll remember for a long, long time.
