Dreams Once Shattered
You can't turn back time

Dreams once shattered come back to haunt,
While mystical mandolins strum their lullabies.

Standing on the edge of yesterday,
Praying for peace from torment within,
Search the soul but nothing comes to light,
And those mandolins just play on.

No answers to be found anywhere,
Questions dare not get answered.
The truth shall set you on fire,
Igniting the flames of a pitiful past.

Don't want to remember the words
To the songs those mandolins play
Cause more than dreams will shatter
And more than a heart will break.
