Sonnet for “Family” …
A family is found in many ways-- With brothers, sisters, mother and a dad. “Traditional” is just another phrase. Perhaps a single mom is all you had. Two moms, two dads, adoption, foster care, A family means love for everyone. As long as there is lots of love to share, These are the ties that cannot be undone. Through celebrations, tragedies and tears, A family will always stand by you. Their unity is one that perseveres Their words of faith and love are always true. If through God’s grace, you have a family, That’s all you really need, I guarantee. ****** Shakespearean sonnet 14 lines, 10 syllables per line abab, cdcd, efef, gg
