"The Beginning"
All at once, out of a moment from another time You appeared Walked past my heart as a silent force I could not explain. In a moment, as your words appeared, my mind followed each with a familiarity I had not known before Moments, so few, yet as powerful as a storm rising up, consuming the blue of a sky All at once, you were gone A pull of heart and mind, knew you'd return All at once, you were here And the warmth filled me as a smile formed in recognition of a soul I've danced with before Unfolding who we were, softly, surely and without reason All at once, we knew a question asked, a heart quaked with wonder blushed cheek and sighs filled As the words of fear held and you slowly caressed them free Knowing who and what we were meant to be Surrounded by the power of your heart You held me in wonder for what seemed years in a moment All at once I was yours Rose Marie Patricia Contala - RMPC© 2005
